How EFRM Consulting Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal information.

EFRM Consulting Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in Northern Ireland, company number NI742826, with its registered office at 22 Circular Road, Moneymore, Magherafelt, Co. Londonderry, BT45 7PY. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

This notice explains what we collect through efrmconsulting.com, why, and what rights you have. It applies to visitors, newsletter and launch-list subscribers, and enquirers — not to job applicants or anyone we hold information about for other reasons, which would be covered separately.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site is built on Squarespace, which sets some cookies automatically to make the site function and to provide basic, aggregated analytics. We also use Google reCAPTCHA on our sign-up forms to reduce spam and automated abuse; this sets a cookie and may check some technical details of your device with Google in order to work.

We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site (such as sign-up forms) may not work properly if you do.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this site and our courses. They only receive the information they need to provide their service to us, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:

  • Squarespace, Inc. — hosts this website.
  • New Zenler — hosts and delivers our online courses and manages email communications to subscribers and students.
  • Stripe — processes course payments on our behalf via Zenler; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Google LLC — provides reCAPTCHA (spam protection) and web fonts used on this site.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA (for example, in the United States); where that happens, they do so under recognised legal safeguards such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

How long we keep it

We keep launch-list and newsletter email addresses for as long as you remain subscribed, and delete them within a reasonable period after you unsubscribe. Course and payment records are kept for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law (generally six years). Enquiry messages are kept only for as long as needed to deal with your query, unless a longer period is needed for legal reasons.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your information, or restrict how we use it, in certain circumstances
  • Withdraw consent at any time (for example, by unsubscribing from an email list — every email includes a link to do this)
  • Object to certain uses of your information
  • Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think we've handled your information incorrectly

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You can also lodge a complaint directly with the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
